ELECTRONIC TOLL COLLECTION

Rijeka - Zagreb Motorway launched the service of electronic toll collection (ETC) on 30th June 2006. This is a subscription model of toll pricing without contact, with the use of ETC devices – antenna tag for a corresponding category of vehicles on the motorway sections operated by ARZ, as well as its interaction with other closed toll collection systems on motorway sections operated by Croatian Motorways Ltd. The price of this antenna tag amounts to 122.00 kn (VAT included), and the price of the antenna tag carrier is 20.00 kn. Minimal amount of one-time subscription payment for ETC is 100.00 kn.

Users pay toll reduced by 10% upon passing the toll station when exiting the motorway. Commercial ENC with 10% discount can be used by all categories of vehicles, and seasonal discount amounting to 23.5% is applicable to all categories of vehicles in the period from 1st November till 31st March. ETC traffic lane is marked with ENC traffic sign located on the eave of the toll plaza. All natural persons of age, legal entity or craftsman can become users of the ETC device, for whom ARZ keeps a subscription account or subscription accounts on its toll collection central server, which communicates with all toll collection points where toll is paid by means of ETC devices – antenna tag. To become a user it is necessary to sign the application form and pay the fee for the ETC device, acknowledge receipt of the device by signing a goods received note, and submit the documents to ARZ. In case of technical fault of the ETC device or discharged batteries, ARZ shall replace the faulty ETC device. Subscription amount is payable using all methods of payment (credit cards, debit cards, transfer order). Additional payments to the ETC account can be made on the following giro account: 2340009-1502010967 (for Zagreb County); giro account: 2340009-1510137367 (for Primorsko-Goranska County) at Privredna banka Zagreb. R1 invoice (for companies) can also be given upon the user's request. ARZ is not responsible for costs caused by improper use of ETC devices (in case when the user keeps two or more ETC devices in the vehicle).
