The length of the Rupa – Matulji Section is 16.3 km. The section stretches from the town of Rupa, near the Slovenian border, until the town of Matulji where it connects to the four-lane Rijeka Bypass. The section is a part of the A7 motorway.
The motorway is connected to the Istrian Y via the Matulji Interchange.
In the vicinity of the Rupa – Matulji Section there is the Učka Nature Park and the Vela Draga – a geomorphologic nature monument, which are worth visiting in order to familiarise oneself with the natural beauties of that area.
RSF Rupa is located on this section.
Toll is collected in the open toll system (only one toll plaza).
