Autocesta Rijeka-Zagreb d.d. considers its employees the most valuable resource and a guarantee of the Company’s success.
Except for education system development and employee competence acquisition, continuous training on management systems, quality of process oriented system, acquiring managerial skills, as well as presentation, negotiation and communication skills, is also organized.
The Company ensures that all employees have access to information and insight into specified procedures, as well as the reactions to potential inconsistencies through notice boards and the Intranet. Providing information in this way contributes to transparency of business, and that is clarity, explicitness, and intelligibility - all of which directly contribute to organization culture.
Employee satisfaction level is regularly evaluated. Aware of importance of measuring and monitoring organizational atmosphere and employee satisfaction for functioning of a modern company, Autocesta Rijeka-Zagreb d.d. takes part in the HrOK project - comparative research of organizational climate conducted in Croatia by AT Adria from Zagreb since 2002.
The research includes questions whether the employees are satisfied with their job position, whether they are satisfied with the "state of mind" in the company, how they communicate with each other, where are the opportunities for additional motivation of employees, how do the managers treat their personnel, are the business goals realistic, whether the cooperation between organizational units is successful, are the employees aware of what is expected from them, how loyal are the employees to their company, and similar. Here is a graphical presentation of ARZ employees’ satisfaction, according to the research conducted in June 2010 compared to the average in companies engaged in the same industry (motorways operation).
