 Construction of the Rijeka Bypass south carriageway (total length 9,536.40 m) was completed on 5 November, 2009, by constructing the part of the Orehovica – Diracje Section from km 0+000.00 to km 0+944.901 and from km 0+000.00 (0+000.00=0+944.901) to km 3+270.00 including the south carriageway entry slip road to the Orehovica - Sv. Kuzam Section, 84.00 m long, total length 4,298.90 m. |

 On 11 September 2009, on the south carriageway of the Rijeka Bypass, in presence of the Managing Board of Autocesta Rijeka-Zagreb d.d, journalists and civil engineers, final works on connecting the most challenging object on the Rijeka Bypass - the Rjecina Bridge - were executed. |

| USER SATISFACTION SURVEY - PRIZE CONTEST |

 At the beginning of July a user satisfaction survey was carried out directly at the motorway, i.e. at the road service areas. Users could remain anonymous or leave their contact data and participate in a prize contest. 559 people took part in the contest. |
