The length of this section is 12.44 km. Three tunnels, 1 viaduct, 1 bridge, and 3 underpasses were built on this section. The longest tunnel on the Rijeka-Zagreb motorway is situated on this section – the Tuhobić Tunnel (2143 m long). The section is a part of the A6 motorway.
An additional lane for the slow vehicles was constructed at places where the longitudinal grade of the carriageway exceeds 4%.
RSF Tuhobić (in the Zagreb direction) and RSF Lepenica (in the Rijeka direction) are located on this section.
Toll is collected on the motorway exits at the Oštrovica Toll Plaza and the Vrata Toll Plaza.
