The length of this section is 8.2 km. There are 5 viaducts and 2 underpasses on the section. Underpasses connect two sides of the motorway - Kikovica and Kamenjak. This is one of the most challenging sections in the Republic of Croatia with 20% of length covered in structures. The section is a part of the A6 motorway.
Both carriageways have an additional lane for the slow vehicles, since the longitudinal grade of the carriageway is 4%.
This section is a part of the motorway from Zagreb to Rijeka, which is tolled along the whole length, and the toll is collected at the Rijeka (Grobnik) Toll Plaza and the Oštrovica Toll Plaza (exit gate in the direction of the island of Krk).
